THE CHALLENGE
DESIGNING THE FUTURE
Our workshops challenge students to use their engineering, electronic and problem-solving skills to program a robot to navigate around obstacles.
"The James Dyson Foundation's robotic workshop provided an ideal opportunity for students to apply their academic understanding of engineering in a practical setting. It brought their learning to life!"
THE OUTCOME
A NEW GENERATION OF INVENTORS
The aim of the robotics workshop is to help develop their problem-solving, creativity and communication skills. By using technology and new ways of thinking, students can see how engineering can come to life.
DESIGN, BUILD, TEST
RAPID PROTOTYPING
The James Dyson Foundation also offers rapid prototyping workshops. These sessions encourage students to work together and use their problem-solving skills to come up with a solution to a global problem. They'll utilise their design skills to sketch their idea and build a prototype from cardboard.
